The Luca Coscioni Association and the World Congress for freedom of scientific research will take active part in the World Stem Cell Summit 2008 to be held Sept. 22-23 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The summit is organized among others by the Genetics Policy Institute whose founder and Executive Director Bernard Siegel is an active partner of the permanent World Congress and one of the most appreciated speakers of the first meeting in Rome. During the summit in Stanford (2006) Marco Cappato on behalf of the Luca Coscioni Association was granted the International Advocacy and Policy Award. Last year the association and the World Congress were represented by prof. Andrea Boggio, who is Assistant Professor of Legal Studies at the Bryant University, is member of the Luca Coscioni Association and one of its points of presence in Boston.
