Amedeo Santosuosso is Professor of Law, Science and New Technologies at the University of Pavia, Department of Law, and serves as a Judge at the Milano Court of Appeal, 1st Civil Division and Specialized chamber on Intellectual Property Rights.

He is among the founders and President of the European Center for Law, Science and New Technologies ECLT, University of Pavia (I)

He is also among the founders of the European Association for Neuroscience and Law (EANL).

He participated (2011-12) in the European Robotics Coordination Action (euRobotics) and coauthored a Green Paper on “A legal framework for robotics in Europe”.

His more recent work is on Legal Interoperability As a Comprehensive Concept in Transnational Law, Law, Innovation and Technology, 6.1 (forthcoming).
